About
Rooted in Derby since 1982.
Our commitment
1982
The year TenderCare began.
For more than four decades, TenderCare has worked alongside homeowners and businesses across south-central Kansas. Our designers are experienced in every phase of landscape construction and design, and work diligently to make sure each plan creates a landscape you’ll always enjoy.
Our team attends regular training to stay current on the newest information in the field — so the advice you get reflects what actually works here.
Let us bring your outdoor living dreams to reality.

Process
How every design comes together.
- 01
Listen
We discuss scope and the elements you want — because the most important part of the design is you.
- 02
Measure
We measure the property and take a site inventory so the scaled drawing matches real conditions.
- 03
Concept
We present a conceptual design and refine the layout together.
- 04
Final plan
We deliver the final plan, with an itemized estimate to install it if you choose.
